Well I for one don't want to see any company with a monopoly. In aviation or elsewhere.
Why are some people so in favour of creating a private monopoly, especially in something as important to this island as air travel? I just can't see the logic.

And I'm against subsidies too.
If Ryanair is getting subsidies off the Irish taxpayer, while at the same time attempting to use that money to create a private monopoly, then something is seriously wrong with the allocation of the PSO contracts. That subvention should be withdrawn immediately. As the OP said.
