People talking about the poor transport system in Dublin? Try living without a transport system altogether!
Well as long as the people of Donegal continue to vote for political elites who don't care about them then not much will change.

Why must people compare us to even worse countries? Makes us feel better I suppose. Having lived in Switzerland for quite some time I find the public transport here in Ireland deplorable as is that mess of toll fees and the potholes in the roads. It's like those vacuous comments re our failings in the Olympic Games. Sheesh.
I know what you are saying, greengoose, but this is, as you know, an unfair comparison. Putting what passes for public transport in Ireland up against the best public transport infrastructure in Europe is the metaphorical equivalent of clubbing baby seals.

Can't really argue there... Blaney, Coughlan and Gallagher don't seem too interested in the county at the minute. They're more concerned about cuddling up to Cowen to try to further their career, while McDaid has all but retired.

You get what you vote for and 30 years of FF dominance have left us a century behind the rest of the country...

didn't a drunk driver top the poll in Donegal. karma
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

If FF put up a sheep in Donegal, it would get elected
