No Irish person needs a passport to enter own country

The airports are fine but I've often driven back and forth on the ferries between Ireland and Britain and I've never once been asked to open my boot. Just as well because I'm charging the Romanians and Nigerians £50 a go.

If you think you can just give an nod, and wid, and use a bit of irish accent, then you're mistaken.

I've gotten through on a nod and a wink, but it depends on the Guard and his mood.

As have I on many occassions but security at Galway airport is quite lax in general though.
