    The Boarding Card is not actually required by RYA (or any of the choose your own seat airlines), they could easily operate a booking ref system at boarding gate if need be - however its the Airport which requires a Boarding Card to enter the passenger security area

    Why not visit the DAA offices each time you forget to print or lose your ticket

    More bizarre is that they sometimes stand and queue for up to an hour before the gates open. Whilst I'm sitting comfortably watching them.
    I'm nearly always the last on the plane, but hey, guess what....I always get a seat.

    And I find on a regular basis that the middle seat on the very front row will be available, with extra leg room
