Triskaidekaphobia - Healy-Rae wants to skip next year

“There’s people now who, we’ll say, always change their cars every two, three or four years,” Healy-Rae told TheJournal.ie. “Take you, for instance – you might be one of these men who change their car every three years, and 2013 is your year to change. People like you are after going to the garages and saying they’ll wait until the next year” before replacing their cars, he added, simply because they did not want to drive cars carrying a number which is often thought to be unlucky.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more moronic, one of our great elected representatives comes up with something like this. It's hard to know where to begin in even taking this seriously.

I wonder why he feels the need to wear a cap to cover the 13 hairs on his head?

Well, now we know who we can appoint to the position of Ireland's representative to the EU Court of Auditors when Kevin Cardiff makes his next move up the ladder......

A national treasure like that needs a bigger trough for his snout.

    Send the moron to Brussels.

He can hang around with Gay Mitchel, Brian Crowley, Joe Costello and any other eijjets we might have needed to send out of the way.

Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

There are 4 Friday 13s this year. We have survived one so far but we might not be so lucky next time or if we survive that we might not be so lucky the time after that and if we survive that we might not be so lucky the time after that so we must strive to get rid of the day of Friday just to be safe so that this event can never occur again.

It probably makes sense if you only have 13 brain cells.

And it adds up to approximately one Friday 13th every 13 weeks!!

it would be ironic if a drunk driving a 13-KY coming from the family pub ploughed into him.

The reporter should have asked him if he thought a text in poll on RTE would be a good way to gauge support for his idea.
