    Man protests against Ryanair

I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum but never mind! Watching the Everton v Man City game last night a guy ran onto the pitch and handcuffed himself to the goalposts. People thought this was a protest at the way the club is run but it turns out it was against Ryanair because his daughter didn't get a job! No doubt we will hear more anon.

Seems to be a serial protestor if the Indo report is to be believed.

I think his daughter paid hundreds of pounds to Ryanair to do a training course and then she wasn't even offered a job. In fairness Ryanair's labour policies are disgraceful.

"In a statement, Everton said: '..... 'It transpired that the supporter is a known professional protester, allegedly protesting about an airline's recruitment policy. He was arrested by Merseyside Police, who are now dealing with the matter.' "

Is professional protesting a well paid occupation in the UK, can anyone advise?

I know that in Ireland, accomplished professional protesters like RBB, Claire Daly and Mung the Mindless can slither their way into well-paid jobs in Dail Eireann, but are the English as gullible?

Clearly not good enough for the job she applied for, Daddy then heads off to a soccer match on her behalf and makes a buffoon of himself.

People get rejected for jobs everyday, few behave likes this.
