I think now that reality has finally touched down at Dublin Airport, we will see a less belligerent attitude, from the well paid, well sinecured, well conditioned staff out there.

Unions might have at last realised they are different animal in Herr Mueller.

He seems not to be concerned about baggage and history.

Cabin crew at Aer Lingus have voted by 92% to 8% to accept the airline's €97m cost-saving plan.

Seems they've had a change of heart. Funny that!

What's funny about people being intimidated by threats to destroy their livelihoods?

You might mean their temporary livelihoods, those remaining jobs will not last, anybody with half a brain will not book an Aer lingus flight, or a British Airways one
If the unions come out and give a cast iron guarantee that no flights will be disrupted, then I will reconsider.
I brought 2 groups of customers to berlin in the last month 19 people in all), and although the Ryanair flights are too early in the morning, I was sure the staff would not be on strike.
