It is in it's eye. It's a perfect example of how inefficient the public sector really is as it is with a public sector mentality and structure Aer Lingus operates under the guise of a private sector company.

Is AL management trying to bully the cabin crew. How come these redundancies were the only one`s announced today after a long long extraordinary meeting. Was David Begg there ?

Seem a bit surprised that management didn`t have a plan if their PLAN A was rejected.

Surely they should have announced exactly the number of job losses that were required today.

    Labour Court here they go...................

Don't need to predict them as they are doing it themselves very well.

Scary how close to the truth I have been with Aer Lingus strategy over last couple of years.

Most of the cash gone from floatation and what has been achieved ?

Are they in better or worse shape now ?

Put it this way Einstein, if abcde were voting and only 'e' rejected, one is hardly going to punish abcd for the result?

Back to the labour court, media coverage and all night session, plenty of spin, yes voted, and away we go.

And another probably 200 man hours wasted
