While I would enjoy to see FF losing both seats in Tipperary, it would be a pity if somebody of the calibre of Mansergh was lost to politics and that Mattie the bamboozler Mc Grath should be elected. He should never have run for office.

On a completely separate note for the voters of South Tipp,who knows but by some mysterious circumstances the more natural arrangement of which Garda division covers certain area's of South Tipp may return in the near future

He's not going to be a Taoiseach's nominee and the senators put in place by FF councillors are likely to be much younger than Martin. We could be heading for a record number of under 40s in the Seanad.
As I said last night, this is terrible news for VB fans. Martin is comedy gold who can always be depended on to give us a laugh which is screeching and bizzare behavior.
In these depressing times we need a laugh.
Watching Vincent Browne v Martin Mansergh can be side splitting.
If he does lose his seat, will RTE/TV3 etc give him his own comedy show - would be a shame to lose him.
