I shall be having lunch in the Market Bar about 2 if anyone would like to pick up the tab - I'll be having the Cajun Mackeral with bay leaves and baby potatoes!

Seriously though, I am being shanghaied into going by a friend, hope its not raining, I'm a fair weather marcher.......
If I could mass-sterilise the planet, I would. Seriously.

It should have happened years ago.

It is an absolute disgrace that the surgery services in Our Lady's Hospital Cashel are taking three years and 10 months to be moved to the General Hospital in Clonmel.

It has meant a poor service for the people in South Tipp while the nonsense about moving has been going on.

There are now also buildings on the grounds of Our Lady's Hospital which have been completed, but are overgrown with weeds, because of the delay.

Any word on how the march went?

And before it begins, I'm not looking posts from Bazza Walsh on how it was "a flop like the Hunger Strike commemorations, the Cead Bhlain etc etc". We all know you'll say that anyway so save yourself the bother.

Happy with it I have to say. Crowd estimates vary from RTE/Gardaí at one thousand to FM104 with two and a half to three thousand, with the Examiner going with 'thousands' in a bet hedging exercise. I'd go for more than two thousand, but not much more.

What do SF memebrs have to say here regarding bairbre De Bruin and te concerted campaign to cloe Omagh Hospital whilst she was in office, that ahs all but been completed now?
How can you say everyone in the south needs access to rpoper easily obtainable healthcare in the republic, but take it away from those living in Omagh and its environs?
