Because the RA had no respect for, and nor did they acknowledge the judicial system in Ireland. They also have a history of ignoring the will of the majority. In short scumbags protect scumbags.

That's is exactly the question we have been asking....

In case you didn't notice a number of "shinners" did condemn the killing but certain senior member's of the party refused.

Well then how can he claim they deserved to be released under the GFA? Unless his argument was that membership of SF and the IRA is sufficient reason for any prisoner to be released from prison.

    Again a very good point...

Plenty people in this thread don't see any problem with the two points co existing.

In-fact many have said that any prisoner who happened to be a member of one of the listed organisations should have been released regardless of the crime committed or the circumstances around that crime....

I am trying to see if this is official SF party policy.

Because they probably ordered it; if they didn't why go out of their way to get them out? And why intimidate witnesses? Why to this very day do the top shinners support them?

What if he went to meet the 'Baby P' killers on their release? What if he was seen meeting Myra Hindley? Or any other murderers?

No matter what acronym you declare your allegiance to, and no matter how rosy your spectacles, taking another human's life is disgusting.

Almost as disgusting, is the cosying up to a killer.

Ferris has negated his remit with this action. Those who respect the basic right of all to life will see this.

    Heaven helpus

It is now five days since I asked you to state the judgement and page of the judgement of the Supreme Court which stated that the murderers of Garda McCabe "came under the GFA". You claimed this as a "fact".

Your only replies to date have been some feeble attempts at humour. I and many others do not think there is anything funny about the murder of a Garda while protecting state assets and the recent open support of the murderers by a member of Dáil Éireann.

You should now withdraw that allegation as you are unable or unwilling to prove it.
