    Royal Navy welcomed in Derry

Derry City Council has used ratespayers money to invite the Royal Navy to Derry Port.
Provisional Sinn Fein Mayor in todays paper welcoming the Captain of HMS Cattarick
Private security company owned by Martin Mc Guinness's brother is doing 24 hour guard, on shore,(paid by the Council) as armed Brit troops patrol the deck.
On Friday night, a local Republican was assaulted by the P Specials after he aired his opposition to the armed Brits on board.
    All gone very Orwellian.
Apparently the Brits were laughing at the sight of 4 Bogside Provisionals pushing the lone Republican down the street on their behalf.
"******************** off out of the country, if you dont want to see the Brits." was just one of the gems coming from the goons.

Seems someone in Derry City Council thought in would be a a wheeze to combine childrens face painting, bouncy castles and British Warships bristling with 50 Cal machine guns.
At least one of the security guards (young buck from the Bogside working cash in hand) admitted he was only doing it for the money.Pity those who pay him are'nt as frank.
Gross negligence from the Council and Mc Guinness's brother considering what happened at Messareene.

Royal Navy doesn't have a HMS Cattarick.

How nice! Local kids can observe glorified militarism at first hand.

Yes, the kids living around the naval base in Cork are utter monsters now, I hear, what with all the exposure to militarism.

Yes, and so we must protect the pacifist innocence of all the other children of the nation.
