Odds on Christy Burke PLUMMET - he's got a great chance!!!

    Get out and vote folks!

Paschal Donoghue remains favourite to take seat on 8/11

Maureen O'Sullivan is second on 11/8

...but the bould Christy is closing rapidly on odds of 9/4 - this is in from approx 8/1 yesterday.

If you're in this constituency get out and give your vote to Christy. I'm new in the area but he's getting my vote when I go around this evening.

You're relying on SF voters to be able to read.

This is not natural FG territory. I believe (unfortunately) that there is a leftwing seat firmly embedded in this constituency, but I hope I am wrong. I would welcome a SF victory more than a Labour one, on grounds of Lisbon. Then again, Gregory was also opposed to the Treaty, so perhaps O'Sullivan is too. Is that correct? I am not convinced there are enough transfers here for SF. Christy Burke came close but it's easier in a GE where there are multiple seats to be filled.

Shinners lump on their candidate with bookie, try to spin it into a surge.
This is more transparent than clingfilm.
Burke has no chance. If he runs in the next GE, there may be a seat for him, but not this time around.

On this occassion I think you may be right.

Definitely a realistic seat for SF come nexT General Election in a few months time.

    .
    Northern bank notes?
I put a twenty euro punt on burke 3 weeks ago and he was at 10/1. He would be more transfer friendly than donohue but that only matters if he is ahead of o'sullivan.
If the banks are out for a bail,
and Lenny's efforts end up as a fail,
    when the Somer does come,
    to the Country they'll run,
And leave a Fine mess for the Gael.

Endinf the one Party (FF) state:
