    Denis Donaldson Shot Dead

RTÉ are reporting right now that Denis Donaldson, the former Sinn Féin official "outed" as a British double-agent, has been shot dead at or near his home in Donegal.
It's being reported as a newsflash on Six-One.

This seems like a pretty bad decision, I mean there's really only one organization that'll get the blame for this. Unless he shot himself.

I heard he'd been living like a hermit in the Donegal hills up until recently. Ah well. A lot of republicans are probably dead because of this tout so I can't say I've any sympathy for him. Sad day for his family, and probably few others. The DUP will be chuffed to bits anyway.
