Sunday Independent: Sinn Fein Marxist coup

THE Sunday Independent today exposes Sinn Fein's secret plan to sweep to power within 10 years - and implement a range of Marxist republican policies.

Its intention is revealed in a confidential document discussed by the Sinn Fein hierarchy just five weeks ago.

The document underlines Sinn Fein's hope to create a "mass party" to "mobilise even greater numbers of Irish people around our vision".

The strategy is based on what it calls "alterative community-based structures".

The Sinn Fein policy paper makes it clear that it intends to stir up unrest with agitation and street politics to achieve its aims.

"Radicalised and mobilised communities are the seed bed from which the new republic will be built," it says.

And the Party leadership intends to use the 90th anniversary of the Easter Rising this year as a means to recruit new members.

Actually, even for SF, this seems rather far-fetched. Still slightly credible though

    Far fetched ?

Apart from the line about implementing Marxist Republican policies, all of this is exactly true.

And I even sent the Sindo an e mail today thanking them for their coverage. Getting our message across to such a large section of the population would normally have cost us hundred of thousands of euro in publicity campaigns.

I mean look at the statement:

"The document underlines Sinn Fein's hope to create a "mass party" to "mobilise even greater numbers of Irish people around our vision".

What else would any political party hope for, except to grow into a "mass (really big sic.) party", which gets the support of greater numbers of Irish people ?

What does it think Labour wants to do ? Get smaller ? Not want people to support its vision ?

    or this beauty:

"The strategy is based on what it calls "alterative community-based structures"."

In Sinn Fein, we prefer to call these Cummain (or Cumanna). We'd like them in every town and village in Ireland.

    And what about this:

"The Sinn Fein policy paper makes it clear that it intends to stir up unrest with agitation and street politics to achieve its aims"

This means we don't intend putting up with the crap that Irish people have had to put up with from sucessive governments, and the best means to make it clear we're not going to put up with it, is through protest. It seems in SindoWorld, the right to protest shoudn't be allowed.

    It just gets better:

"Radicalised and mobilised communities are the seed bed from which the new republic will be built," it says."

Thats a fancy way of saying, Sinn Fein intends to look for support amongst and within communities, and build change from the bottom up. Another way of saying "Local democracy"

    And finally:

"And the Party leadership intends to use the 90th anniversary of the Easter Rising this year as a means to recruit new members."

Did some journalist (sorry employee, its the Sindo), actually get paid for writing lines like this ?

All I can say to this line is, of course we intend using the example of Irish people not putting up with crap from their government, as a way of building a membership who's also fed up with the current crap on offer from the other political parties in Ireland.

What I'm disappointed with from the internet article, is that it forgot to mention

SF are meeting with business leaders in Ireland, to try to sell our economic vision

    or

SF members are getting involved in local community voluntary organisations

    or

SF are trying to recruit new members in third level colleges and universities

    or

SF are trying especially hard to recruit female members, and people from ethnic minorities

In the name of sweet Jebus, what political party isn't doing all these things ?

I nearly swallowed my tongue reading that report yesterday.

I'd have sworn Cain1798 was after defecting from AP/RN and was after starting writing for the Sindo.

Are they trying to kill us with kindness ?

Only if it keeps printing articles like that Biffo. I'll be suggesting that we forward them a copy of our election manifesto. It'll save us hundreds of thousands on printing.

So wait, are you guys planning a coup or not? Perhaps Cain1798's idle speculation about who would go up against the wall when the revolution comes wasn't the harmless laugh we all assumed it to be.

Wonder if Jim Cusack ever gets weary of having to produce an anti shinner article every week?.I mean he's not stupid but he has to write articles that assumes his readers are. It's a living I suppose..
