Oh, I am so sorry. Merle would never make a typing / spelling mistake.

Incidentally, I could not care less where he went to school. It obviously matters a lot to him, otherwise why did he unnecessarily bring it up twice ?
Nobody asked him or cares less about where he went to school.

If I remember correctly, he only mentiond it, when you made some smart remark about schools in South Armagh giving a blinkered lesson in history, to which he retorted....well , you know. True, I've noticed you geting less hardline in recent posts. I think if we continue, with our indoctrination, we could have you converted. It's never too late to come out. Admit the error of your way, repent, and join in the struggle.

You write "If I remember correctly". Well Bogwarrior, you do not remember correctly, because nobody asked him or cares less about where he went to school, and anyway I am sure not all schools in South Armagh are the same. As it happens , he claims he went to school in Belfast, not that anybody cares.

As regards me getting less hardline - interesting you claim that. I never supported terrorism on either side, or any of the illegial groups eg IRA, INLA, UDA, UVF, PIRA etc. I never glorified or approved of any of their actions. This is in contrast to a sizeable number of people on this site, who I WOULD classify as "hardline".

Trouble is, the losers who think like that always sunk.

The people who played their part, no matter how great or small, and whose honour was saved, sunk the revolutionaries, and will do so again in the future. Power to the people.

I only mentioned going to a protestant school because some prat ( True if i remember it correctly) lectured me on how obvious it was I had never met any protestants and how i needed to urgently . I believe the presumption I was educated in a catholic school was made by him as well .

And how necessary is it to make up tales about having an imaginary phd ? Was it a thesis on the life of Walter Mitty ? Spoofing and its effects on the west Brit discourse within Irish political society ?

One could also point out their over representation in the upper echelons of the legal profession, but it doesn't matter really considering descrimination against Protestants is a non-issue in the 26 Counties today.

Feck me, that's taking anti-Brit paranoia to new levels. The wrong kind of accent on the Luas? I'd better take de-elocution lessons when purer republicans than me take power in Ireland, in case my accent offends the true sons of Ireland.
It's not paranoia. It's just annoying. It's pointless. Really, wtf is the point in having English accents on the Luas? Or the voice in the lifts in the Mater Private? Or anywhere in any automatic announcer in Ireland? It's as if we're too stupid to program things with our own accents and we rely on the English to do it for us.

This is a typical west Brit stance. Tell me True, can you define terrorism for us? G'wan, give us a nice, concise definition of what a terrorist organisation is. Don't use a dictionary either. I want your view. *Point and wink*

Also, you don't support any illegal groups because they're illegal? Now that's not a good advertisement for thinking for yourself, is it?

I do not support any of the paramilitaries because they have degenerated into drug-dealing groups of scum who kill innocent people for no reason. If the IRA were just a more modern version of the Old IRA, targeting only British military establishments, Secret Service agents, etcetera, without the petty crime and drugs, then yes, I would give them my support. Illegality means nothing to me and shouldn't mean anything to you if you consider yourself a free thinker.
