    SF & The Death Penalty

Sinn Fein have made it known for years that they oppose The Death Penalty, Putting aside all the so called combatants and innocents they murdered over the years will Sinn Fein publicly condemn The Kangaroo Courts set up by PIRA and the subsequent torture and 'execution' of alleged informers and undesirables?

Sinn fein`s war is over.I am sure their answer would be that they were in a war situation so different conditions apply.I believe that they were in a war situation that was neatly glossed over by the west brit media and politicians.Where else would the dirty war be entitled the Troubles.

I think you will find that during the years of their struggle, Sinn Fein also opposed the death penalty as well as all sorts of other "injustices" practised by democratic states. They never condemned the IRA for the "trial and execution" of their own members or Catholics who were accused of collaboration or criminal activity. Undemocratic and left wing states were shown understanding for their human rights abuses.

Well for the PIRA at any rate. There wasn't much point quoting the Geneva conventions, to a PIRA punishment squad, is there?

So you cannot see the hypocrosy in being anti capital punishment whilst your comrades in arms brutally torture people who have been 'alleged' of something (they don't need evidence) then put one in the back of their head?

Most revolutionary organisations employ this tactic as a means of helping to prevent against informants, etc.

That's not fair wyswiyg. This poster is from West Belfast! I didn't know FAIR had an office in West Belfast. This has to be about the 4th or 5th post, all under a new Avatars, that Willie has started. The game's getting a bit old even for a troll of his trolling experience. He's the asbsolute king of Trollability.
