Kinda already a thread on this.
Their success has nothing to do with their ideas and everything to do with brokerage, the same as FF.
New? Up and coming? I thought they were 100 years old. What new ideas do you speak of? The one's they rehashed from the Stickies 1970 manifesto?Originally Posted by ellen

not at like ff i wouldnt vote for them if i thought in a few years i'd be saying same old lies ff anything to get votes bla bla bla
stickies the hackney wicks where are they now in labour remember they left to form their own party and yes 100yrs old but 100yrs of been imprisoned censored killed for the beliefs of an united ireland the guns are gone so throw your worse they are here to stay
What I meant by the comparason is how they build their sucess they are miles apart policy wise but I've yet to meet a SF voter (as oppsoed to activist) who knows what their policies are and has considerd there full effect, they vote for them because of brokerage in the local area.
I dont think SF want to go into Government. They prefer being in opposition to whoever is in power.
But they will support a republican minded Government who cares for our Citizens in the NE and push for Unity.
The next Government will depend on SF support. and after all the crap over the years, that's not a bad thing at all.
In what way are the Provisionals of 2005 different from the Stickies in 1970?Originally Posted by ellen
