    Jackie McDonald

Is Jackie McDonald someone who republicans can do business with in bringing about some stability at interface areas, for the betterment of all?

His connections to the McAleese's are well known if generally misreported. Would any advances by republicans be rebuffed as it would make his position untenable?

He is on the front page of the Irish Times today hugging McAleese. His organisation is carrying out nightly attacks on nationalists in Antrim and Belfast and he is on the front page of the Irish Times hugging McAleese.

It's an odd place, the world.

^ just when you think free staters cant get any lower, they do.
The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show.
It is then we'll see the rising of the moon.

Yeah could you imagine if McAleese was pictured hugging Bobby Storey. Their would be absolute murder. Not just from the DUP but FG and Lab would also be looking for blood.

    Oh the hypocrisy.

What hypocrisy? Are the DUP, FG and Labour welcoming this meeting?

I know, idiotic use of the word hypocrisy.

None of the politicial parties in the south have commented on the presidental visit at all, to the best of my knowledge. I think there is a general agreement not to try and politisce presidental actions, except in extreme cases.

Surely Sinn Féin should be the last to lecture on hypocrisy.
