Did the many victims of the IRA get headsets? Eh? Eh?

Meh. Just like the Gatsby and Alexander, no great shakes when you get to meet them.

Sure Enda's only a couple of rows in front of him

(maybe he got a bootleg of the Led Zepplin concert the other night)

Sony, in ear headphones, I had a pair 'til my son stole them, which means they're good.

A hearing aid as a headset though? In an era of Hidden Hearing and so on, the idea of a hearing aid as a headset seems very old-fashioned.
I assume its an in-built head set for Deputies who are hard of hearing.

This really has to rank as the most ridiculous anti-SF threads I have ever seen.
If that was a hearing aid then it’s the most unwieldy one I’ve ever seen (barring a large ear-trumpet seen in an old movie).

However, if it is a hearing aid, then let me apologise to Deputy Ferris for any perceived imputation of unstatesman-like conduct, though I did allow that he might have been availing of a simultaneous translation as gaeilge.

As for this being anti-Sinn Fein, not so. But Kerry might be a different story.

In an era of Hidden Hearing and so on.../quote]

I've heard of the Victorian era, the Roman era, etc. Is this what the early 21st century will come to be known as- the Hidden Hearing era? [/quote]

Have you not, ahem, heard of this before? They have regualr inserts in the Indo and other papers like that. They're these tiny hearing aids which are invisible to an un-trained eye.

    This is their website

Oh I've heard of them alright- I just don't think it's worthy of naming an entire era after! Whatever would our descendents think...
