    I am sure there is a perfectly good explanation for it. Some people want to move on from time to time. Sinn Fein will walk any by election.

    True, but the proportion of SF councillors who are quitting on both sides of the border seems to be much higher than for any other party. Proportionately, you'd need to have about 50 FF councillors quitting. On one of the other threads, I wondered whether it was because the Northern Bank money was now running out. I was just joking, of course. But, there must be some reason for all these SF councillors quitting. Perhaps, since the May election, they see SF's future as much less rosy than they thought.

    Well if she has moved out of the area and returned to Ardoyne in Belfast to live, then its only fair that she stands down.
