Both. I know of at least two local FG TD's from two completely different constituencies who have done leaflet drop within the last couple of months. These things are usually coordinated by HQ so all TD's in every constituency would have gotten leaflets to drop. HQ regularly organise such leaflet drops. Then you can add on to this what a TD might personally do of his own bat in the form of sending out other literature to his/her constituents.

Good point and one that George Hook touched on earlier this evening. If he felt such a compulsion to communicate with his constituents in 2007 & 2008 during the so called boom time, why did he not feel the same compulsion to communicate with his constituents from 2009 onwards??? - when it had begun to become official that the sh1t had really hit the fan?!

I think so,yes. Every atrocity committed by the IRA can be justified by the fact that the British did something worse .
Likewise , every time Sinn Fein is caught with it's nose in the trough it will be justified by the fact that someone else,preferably Fianna Fail did a lot worse !
