Will Adams expel Tax Evading Sinn Féin T.D.s?

Will Adams expel Tax Evading Sinn Féin T.D.s?

A major ethical choice confronts Gerry Adams in whether he will insist upon tax compliance by his Oireachtas members, requiring them to comply with he democratically enacted laws of the land.

Sinn Féin is still only a slightly constitutional party in that Sinn Féin T.D.s are refusing to pay the household charge in accordance with law, and have decided to keep the money even though they are paid almost 100k by the State on top of massive expenses.

Sinn Féin could have sought a referendum under article 27 of the Constitution to oppose the local charge law but choose not to do so.

How can any party leader tolerate tax dodging Oireachtas members in his parlimentary party? Does he allow his T.D.s to arbitrarily decide not to pay any tax they please regardless of their ability to pay?

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Tell me, how many FG & FF "public representatives" have been caught dodging tax?

By the way, SF aren't dodging anything, they're taking a principled stand.

Also, numb nuts, they're a fully constitutional Party.

    Get it?

The laws of the land apply to Sinn Fein T.D.s which requires everyone to pay their lawful tax, under the democratically enacted law of the State.

Surely the Shinner T.D.s can afford to pay €100 out of a 95K Salary 37K travel and accommodation allowance and up to 60k a year in expenses?

Of course they can afford it but they object to it.

I don't know if you lot in FG are familiar with principles but that is precisely what SF are demonstrating.

So Sinn Féin object to a democratically enacted law and chose not to seek a referendum to oppose it in according with our democratic process?

Will the former Baron of the Manor of Northstead and owner of many houses himself become a tax dodger too?
