    SINN FÉIN : PMB on C E schemes..More pressure on Labour !

Private members bill calling for a halt to cut to CE schemes for Tuesday. Labour backbenchers will again be sweating on this !.The CE schemes provide , amongst other things , the meals and wheels dinner services for elderly people in the community. These services will disappear leaving hundreds of lonely elderly people to fend for themselves !

Hundreds of lonely elderly people fending for themselves just north of here thanks to a former sf policy.

Why would the Labour Party care about this? They have shown contempt for the people in all other areas so why should this be any different?

I know you're a bit slow but one of the reasons why there is very little fiscal powers in the OSC is coz in the 1970s, when Harold Wilson mooted giving Ireland back to the Irish, the cowardly FG/LP government went berserk & put the full resources of the state into wrecking nascent peace talks & the possibility of Britain leaving the Irish to run their own affairs.
