Good move by SF, as mentioned, hopefully Doherty goes. It would be interesting if they came out with a white paper in light of the results of that conversation as to what they would do were they in power. Once you get away from the devisivness of the personality and core drivers of the party, their financial outlook is valuable in a democracy and it's good that they're generally pretty clear on where they're coming from and how they'd like to get there.
If you're the first out the door, that's not called panicking.

Do the SF representatives realize that the IMF people don't actually carry all the cash on them?

Well, the cute hoors. I'll be listening to what they have to say. I'd also be a tad nervous if I was in government.
Why did Minister Phil Hogan drop the independent review into planning irregularities within Dublin and Cork city councils and Carlow, Meath, Galway and Cork county councils ?

Did I miss something in their pretty clear financial outlook? It's burn the bondholders, tell Merkel to bugger off and then .....? What exactly happens next?

Pity it wont be recorded, I expect a combination of Frank Spencer, Laurel & Hardy and Dougle Mcguire style antics. Talk about embarrassing.

I think you are seriously over-estimating the influence of any "Irish vote" in the US these days.

At least SF will ask the IMF questions that need answering. Such as WTF negotiating technique did FG/LAB/FF try to use with the IMF when the 'deal' was being done? Well we all know the answer but I'd like it confirmed by the IMF.
