It's - because I'm delighted SF did so bad (except for ROC of course!).

Not that long term I want SF to do bad but because this will now present an opportunity for the Party to cleanse itself of the useless yuppy types who have ************************ed SF up and driven away so many former members and voters. Those are the folks who voted SF for good 'ol Nationalist and Republican values based on the Principle of Social Justice and the Independence of our Country for the benefit of the Irish People.

    By way of example:

One SF member actually pulled up another poster here recently for (shock!Horror!) suggesting that SF was a Nationalist Party!

SF in its current form doesn't seem the slighest interested in the huge numbers of foreigners coming here and what that means for the future of our people.

and you wonder why your slipping...?

wheres crowe? transfers me bollox indy socialists took your vote before transfering back to you

He started of with 4825 votes and finished with 7001 votes a clear sign that the point from factual re transfers was indeed correct. Although don't let the facts get in the way of a good moan.
His FPV dropped by 600-700 and 65% of his transfers came from Collins and Smith. Not exactly a new dawn.

Now, of all the people you could accuse of being yuppies, Aenghus is the last that should come to mind.

Telling the Irish People they need to be educated strikes me as a pretty 'yuppy' thing to say!

Maith thú, a Aonghais! Glad to see him getting in, even if he left a bit of wool on the barbed wire where he scraped through.

Would have preferred Eric Byrne to take this seat, but at least Angus had a good rant at Martin CUllen in the Dail as gaeilge one time, and told him he was "go tiubh"!
