Is he suggesting that everyone should be paid the same salary?
If so, if he ever has to go for heart-surgery, he won't mind if the hospital plumber performs the operation?
Who would want green "one of the mob" ratings? Red and proud!

The fact that his lifestyle is funded by stolen bank money and drug money from Columbia (according to our Minister For Justice) escapes them.
I've got to get me one of those 'average industrial wages' 'cos clearly it's enough to pay for nice holiday homes and luxury cars.
What kind of industry is he basing it on- the sex industry? I hear there's a lot of cash to be made from pimping. Beyond that I'm not quite sure what sort of industry would provide the income for the standard of living to which Adams, McGuinness et al have become accustomed.

I guess Sinn Fein members can afford to take lower salaries as many of them have a high amount of "other" forms of income.

Do Gerry and Martin draw their Westminster salaries (the much loathed Queen's shilling, so to speak) for being absentee MPs? If so, how much of this do they donate to Sinn Fein coffers and how much do they pocket?

It's quite clear that Gerry Adams has another source of income other than his political salary - and that's his writing. How many best sellers has he written by now? A good few. More than enough to finance a house in Donegal. It's disingenuous for the barely literate McDowell to call him on that one. And if anyone can prove that his lifestyle is funded by drug money, they should provide the evidence to the Gardai and he should be arrested. Failing that, they should shut the f*** up.....
Just a small note on the minister for inequality is good,every year coming into his house he has his income plus that of his mrs prof Niamh Brennan and the substantial rent from his spare house on Manders Terrace in Ranelagh I would'nt want to throw all that away either.
