Now that SF are in Government?

Now that SF are in Government? What have SF posters to say about This and This and This or will they do what is usual for them and distract from the topic or stay silent?

    Real discussion on topic?

Why don't you address this in the original threads without the need to create this one.

Regard the Offences against the State Act [1998], they're not in power in the South yet, are they?

RSF can't deal with the points as they refuse to recognise the will of the people that voted to endorse the GFA.

Again distract. This is about SF dealing with the points. So deal with them.

That's pretty funny - coming from you Pádraig. You tell us you were in PSF at the time of the 1970 OSF/PSF split. So that means you spent, at least a quarter of a century refusing to recognise the will of the type of people who "endorsed" the GFA. So tell us Pádraig, how did such a Paulian convertion occur? Were you struck down from your donkey on the way to the arms dump by the blinding light of the will of the common man? Did you suddenly realise that all those issues of War News in AP/RN were just the idle fantasies of mindless criminals? Did you feel sorry for all the times that you and your mates refered to the "Republic of Ireland," as a partitionist statelet, or a lacky free state?? Did all those chants of "Gardaí/RUC" come back to haunt you? I mean a quarter of a century of believing that the free state was an enemy to be smashed, just like the six county statelet was to be smashed by any and all means necessary leaves an impression on a man - must be quite difficult to suddenly realise that you were completely wrong all the time and that your enemies were so right that you now want to join them? Must be quite difficult to realise that all those men and women, like Bobby Sands and Máire Drumm, that you, for so long, thought were heros, were, in fact, criminals, commiting offences against the legitimate government??? The people have "endorced" the GFA. They have "endorced" English Crown law in Ireland. They have "endorced" RUC/PSNI, and Pádraig, as you have been converted to the will of the people, you now find yourself under obligation to spy on your friends, family and neighbours, and inform on them to the RUC. So Pádraig, why dont you tell us how you realised that you spent a quarter of a century in such grave error, and how you came to appreciate the will of the common man (that you used to ignore so thoroughly.)

    Ridiculous

The points made by the last poster are, frankly, ridiculous. You'd swear Sinn Fein's aim wasn't to establish a 32 county socialist republic, a position they are completely open about, having heard Adams and McGuinness say the sentence on numerous occasions myself.

It is the will of the great majority of Republicans in the North and South to endorse the Good Friday agreement, that was a 32 county decision. And by the 26.2%, 28 seat victory for Sinn Fein in the Assembly elections, the people believe that the time for violent means has now come to an end. None of us are betraying the memory of comrades like Bobby Sands. We're now going in the direction Republicans want.

The sooner you lads realise this fact, the sooner you may rest at ease.

politic i totally agree with what your saying, however no doubt you will be hit with about a million sound bits from cael and his mates, every thread he enters he turns it into a SF bashing thread.
"If you remove the English Army tomorrow and hoist the green flag over Dublin Castle, unless you set about the organization of the Socialist Republic your efforts will be in vain"
