Truth bart..... Pat Rabbitte never wanted terry o'brien on the ticket cos of his past, in his youth he got into a lot of trouble and anti-social behaviour....but ud think that was cool.
It is true that Terry was more than a bit of a d.ickhead growing up. He was a year or 2 ahead of me in school. I remember him as a total tool in school! BTW Tralee Bay, I am not a member of FG and have not been for circa. 7 years and that kind of abuse will get you nowhere here!

    You've just established that you're a f**king moron.
Sorry there, Kerrygold. What I meant to say was that it's a well-established fact that KERRY gays can't hold their drink. Happy now ?

Well if that's what you believe, then so be it......I don't think he has any court appearances or convictions

Why? Do they not have hands or something?

I've clarified it's only the Kerry ones.

So it's only "Kerry Ones" that don't have hands?

And certainly no drink-driving SF ones.

What's the feeling from around the country on how this is all playing out, then?

I hear a couple of Kerry guys are saying it's not hurting Ferris yet though, of course, wether or not he was ok to drive will have it's repercussions in a couple of weeks.

I think the chances are looking slim that the result will come back as under the limit, so is there any feeling in other constituencies that the Sinn Féin campaign is being affected?

I just detect that it's taken a bit of wind from the sails.

Sorry to disappoint you Nicky G but there is absolutely no evidence that its taken 'a bit of wind from the sails'.

In Kerry Sympathisers will sympathise, and in this case it does seem a rather close call....And political enemies will seek to heap ashes on his head.

Net outcome not a lot really.....some will see at as the opening shots of a dirty tricks campaign against Ferris which just tends to assist him.

More will see at as an error of judgement, but the negative effects of this will be mitigated somewhat by the fact that Ferris is known widely not to be a big drinking man.In a county which has its fair share of gargantuan drinkers and more than its fair share of people in difficulty with the demon drink, Ferris is more closely associated in peoples minds with being a light social drinker.

All in all I see no earthly reason to suppose that it will significantly affect him locally, or Sinn Féin nationally,
