"Ogra SF condemn latest example of Garda harassment"

Ogra SF spokesperson Festy O'Semtex has today condemned the latest blatant example of Garda harassment, and State persecution of shinners everywhere, after the arrest of notorious republican drunkard Martin "Captain Birdseye" Ferris.

Mr. O'Semtex said: (close to tears, and with puppydog eyes) "we condemn this blatant attempt to criminalise innocent republicans. Poor martin would never hurt a fly. And he would never, EVER do anything to endanger the lives of others......now would he??"

"Clearly, the local publican is a raving Blueshirt fascist, and he conspired with the local Garda Sergeant (who is probably a cousin of well-known fascists Gay Mitchell and Brian Hayes) to force poor Martin to break his PTAA pledge and then drive home at speed"

Mr. O'Semtex went on to insist that any similarities in appearance between Martin Ferris and Oliver Reed were purely co-incidental, however he had never seen them in the same room at the same time.

Yes Gardai colluded with the local publican to force drink down Ferris's throat and then at gunpoint made him drive till he was stopped by a waiting Garda patrol, it was entrapment at it's worst.

Yeah, you go out, get hammered, drive home, and there's some pesky cop standing in the middle of the road!

Sure the very thought that there was bad blood between the Kerry Garda and the local SF Organisation is just so ludicrous nobody would even mention it.

Reports are coming in that the Kerry Garda are devasted over this - by the looks of the tears streaming down their faces anyway!

Sure they all loved him! :P
