Gerry had definately gone beyond the beyond and imo is a beacon for any section of society to claim their right to exist and to be respected at every level!
I don't believe for one moment that Adams is anti-gay or anti-women but I do think that he needs to be more careful. Local representatives have boycotted the event and venue in question because of the discriminatory attitudes and his decision to attend does undermine their stance. Would you take such a benign view if it was Brian Cowan - or indeed if it was a venue that banned Jews or African-Americans?

Hail Glorious St. Gerry, dear saint of our Isle
On Erin's dear children bestow hatred and bile
And when someone says that you are no saint
Just bomb them dear Gerry, and don't let them taint
Your gentle kind heart and forgiving nature
Just shoot them and torture the ones with such ire.

Wouldn't you lot love to pay me a visit? LOL
