Sinn Fein Nomination for President in '11

One question - Will Sinn Fein be nominating anyone for the presidency for 2011?

If they are, who will they nominate? Arthur Morgan maybe?

They couldn't possibly get the support. They've only 5 oireachtas members when 20 is required.

It is a non-issue. They can't. They would need 20 TDs and senators, or control of four councils, to nominate a candidate. They have neither, and so cannot nominate a candidate.

    That issue is dead.
"Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.

I think today was the first time I ever heard him being interviewed, as distinct from just saying a piece to camera. It was at lunchtime on RTE radio 1 and quite honestly he was dreadful. Even MLM is better than that.
