No one could believe such a thing. This is not a new story and I just gave the motive for it being brought up at this moment by the particular person who brought it up. Issue's of child abuse, incest and rape should be pursued until those responsible are brought to justice and we as a society have put in place measures to prevent any more such suffering occuring again. It shouldnt however be used as a political football as the media have attempted and the opening poster here replicated

The problem with that argument is that nothing could be discussed more than once without being called 'a political footbal', even things like no handshake.
The opening post was news to me. I know of that priest, though.

Interesting but highly unlikely to be related to the alleged abuse allegations as the victim only told her own mother about the abuse before the pair of them approached Gerry Adams in 1987. If Liam went to America for a spell in 1984-5 it was for quite another reason.

Some things are political footballs and should be kicked about and points scored until a result is obtained.Child abuse isnt in my opinion one of those things.Issues of that nature should be discussed in an objective manner and pursued by the proper authorities

Do you think they should be congratulated for their behaviour in the Liam Adams scandal?

Will Liam Adams be produced at the forthcoming Ard Fheis. After all that would be openess and transparency especially after Gerry's encounter with Jesus in the Holy Lnad.

Why did FF and FG help protect child abusers for over 80 years while they were guardians of the children. This must be the biggest paedophile cover up in history. Political parties in Ireland should hold their heads in shame.I'd hold them even more responsable then the church.
