if ye're in any doubt about cullinane's "working class" credentials, just take a look at his recent press release announcing the birth of his new child.![]()

It read like something from the London Times! What a pretentious load of crap. Cullinane's after moving a long way from his roots in Lisduggan and Ballybeg, I can tell you.
Spot ON. The new storesperson in TandC peugeot waterford lives in....wait for it...lisduggan and doesnt drive a new car, cullinane is not working class anymore as he now earns middle-class money with sinn fein, which he would never have earned as a storesperson CARRERIST using sf to move up in the world, helping the working-class people my foot.Originally Posted by Deep Throat
Cullinane a perfect example of the political CARRERIST.
Is there even the faintest possibilty that you can stay on topic.Originally Posted by Deep Throat
Well RoC, I think there was only one poll, and that was in the Belfast Telegraph, but in gereral I agree that you have to treat most polls with extreme caution, especially with regard to smaller parties... and as for 'party', 'internal' and 'private' pollsOriginally Posted by rockofcashel

That said, I think if you see a pattern over a series of reputable polls, you can't just ignore it. There is one excellent website which tracks the all the polls (as gaeilge), and even if you allow for underrepresentation of SF, it is clear that they aren't going in the right direction. Incidentally, the last poll before the 2002 election had SF on 7 per cent, which was bang on the money.

I would say ten seats this time for SF is about right. They will retain the five they have. And gain three in Dublin and two in Donegal with outside possibilities for Cullinane (despite Buftys obsession) and Wexford if they had a really good day.

I would agree with this. Although I think Wexford is a real prospect. It is a five seater and SF are sitting on 5,000 votes in 2002. Even the slightest of swings to the party should bring Dwyer in.Originally Posted by Gerrry
If you read the local papers you would see a lot of people from Lisduggan are done for robbing food from the local tesco each year, their defence is feeding their kids, they normally get away with a fine, Shock HORROR there is still poverty in Ireland and it makes me SICK tahat cullinane suggests he is in the same boat as these people he is certainly not, far from it with his sinn fein money, i detest his hypocrisy, he should admit sinn fein has made him financially better off.Originally Posted by Skin
