Killian Forde could easily have formed his own new party with Christly Burke and Louise Minihan and perhaps others, such as New Ross Town Councilor John Dwyer? Former candidate Anne O'Leary (Cork S.W.) and Bantry Town Councilor?
There are so many councilors and former candidates that never joined R.S.F. and the 32-Co Sov. Comm. (probably not welcome either), both holding office and not, on either side of the border, I would wonder why not form a party? Éirigí is not that party: it's a collection of teenagers and lefty radicals that won't develop into anything of consequence. Martin Cunningham, Davy Hyland in Co. Down and perhaps Paddy Murray in Antrim, it could be quite a formidable new movement free of the excessive control freakery of Messers. Adams & McGuinness.
What about it? Who would be up for building a new national movement?
