Excellent, well-thought-through, election broadcast aimed at traditional voters.

Without wanting to sound bitter, I thought it was awful.

Why do psf continue to use the term "six counties" when they accept every facet of that state? Seriously?

As for the broadcast itself its probably a film of the watchtower going down with a cut scene to adams and co with sledgehammers, terry o neill doing a light number and the odd tricolour.

How so factual, how would this possibly appeal to 'traditional' PSF voters?

No, it's just Caitríona Ruane doing a voiceover while showing footage of random sinn féin reps and playing Irish music in the background and a cúla focail from Gerry Adams.

Sorry to direct traffic away from Politics.ie, but here's a link with some excellent debate on this.

Think it should hit the nail on the head for most reasonably intelligent people.

Fair point, but where are they going to run to?!

Doesn't seem to hurt Bertie that much, he can't speak Irish, and struggles with English!

It was ajoke nickyg, i know many fluent speakers in the SDLP,32CSM,RSF,FF,FG as well as others. They could go anywhere. They may go nowhere. Speaking Irish and being a republican are not one and the same, as your point about bertie proves, sure he's a republican.
