The Nightmare of two Partitioned Free States

Nationalist Ireland is being mislead into the nightmare of two partitioned free states. Remember what it took to inflict the 26 county free state. Friends killing friends, former Republicans turning informer and often collaborating in the murder of their ex comrades. All of this is being set up again in the six county free state. Gregory Campbell has said that the DUP will expect to see PSF working as RUC/PSNI informers inside Republican areas before they will be allowed to administer British Crown law. And does he not have a point? How could you be trusted to hold Crown ministerial position if you refuse to report the breaking and subvertion of Crown law?

We are told that Stormont Castle will lead to a United Ireland. But look at the experiance of Leinster House. When a small elite gained power, their only ideal became holding on to that power. We even had the likes of Jack Lynch and Garrett Fitzgerald begging the British not to withdraw from Ireland lest the southern free state be destabilised. How long till we have Gerry Adams begging the British not to leave in case the northern free state might be destabilised? Certainly if the six county free state becomes a stable and prosperous part of the UK, then anyone in Stormont even mentioning Irish Unity will be regarded as dangerous subversives.
