You can be sure his opinion formed in 1916 has not changed at all. He did not compromise with Imperialism then and he dosnt compromise with attempts to update Imperialism now. He rejected attempts to force the Irish people to vote for their own subjugation and partition in 1922, and he rejects the latest attempt by the GFA to force a hypothetical imperative on the people, i.e. "vote for the GFA if you dont want terrible war." A grotesque perversion of democracy. He is a living inspiration to the Republican youth of Ireland.
fair enough but on a thread where SF have been described by you as "tired, bloated, over ripe, degenerate" is it not odd that you seem to aspire to the principles of a 104 year old man?
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Not very fair Alonso.. there are many people who aspire to the beliefs and principles of a man dead for over 2000 or so years

Quite frankly, that question is based on a false premise. As you well know, this Ard-Fheis will be specifically about policing so leadership challenges will not come into it. Also Cael, it really is time you gave a defence of your position instead of merely attacking others. The novelty of that wears off after a wile.

But DOD, you know the Republican position as well as I do. It used to be PSF's position until 1986.

You also know quite well that a rejection of the British Crown Colonial Constabulary at this Ard Fheis would also be a rejection of the Uncle Tom Misleadership who are now promoting British Crown law as legitimate in Ireland and who are soliciting support for the Crown occupation forces who enforce that alien law.

No, Sinn Féin dosnt believe in isolating young people from the main organisation and forcing them into inane and harmless activities where their questions and opinions cant challenge the leadership.

    Cael..

You never answered my post .. I have outlined a means of removing the current leadership of SF if you are willing to get involved...

Or is it always a preference that you ask others to do what you would like, without having to sully your own hands or principles ?

I give my allegiance to the 32 county Irish Republic and to the Republican Movement including Sinn Féin Poblachtach. But I know there are many Republicans still in PSF. I wish them well in opposing this attempt to legitimise the British Crown Occupation of Ireland. Natually, the defeat of the RUC/PSNI supporters would mean the end of the Neo-Sticky Misleadership - that would be a good day's work for Irish Republicanism in general.

    The Tuatha De Danaan

Surely the real problem is the illegal occupation of Ireland by the Tuatha De Danaan, who many years ago invaded the country and have never made a statement of intent to withdraw. It is disappointing that RSF have failed to take the lead in the campaign against the Tuatha securocrats, who brutally expelled and abused the human rights of the heroic Fomors, original and legitimate rulers of the entire island of Ireland. Action must be taken against the De Danaan partitionists, who have managed to deceive republicans into thinking that they no longer exist.

Bring back the Fomors - their heroic struggle must not be forgotten! A Fomor Sovereignty Committee (FSC) must be formed immediately - it would help if everyone involved had only one eye...
