If it makes you feel any better, what you're describing is just a homophobic conspiracy theory with zero basis in reality.

It's creepy that you think being gay is something that can be "encouraged".

It's a word some people use to describe not feeling sexual attraction to other people, unless a close bond has formed with them.

I just can't keep up anymore, they're just making stuff up at this point. At this rate there could start to be a backlash of parents refusing to have their children taught sex education in schools anymore. Tbh, if I were a parent I would have to pull my kids out of that course. This stuff is just damaging children now, it's absurd to indulge every mentally ill person who ''identifies'' as something.

It's important to not isolate LGB people, I wouldn't go out of my way to upset someone who considers themselves to be trans gender, but I don't acknowledge it as being a real thing, to me it will always just be a mentally ill person in need of psychiatric care.

Id say it wont be for want of trying.

Not without caring, supportive and sensitive direction.

So. We can use the word gay, as you just have there, to cover all of those alphabetti spagetti categorisations then.

    The oracle has spoken.

It's not a course for kids. It's a workshop for teachers who find it hard to keep up with the various terms.

I was replying to another poster who referred to being gay.

In general, LGBTQ+ is usually sufficient for most contexts.
