    Zimbabwe coup in progress?

Details rather sketchy at present, but after President Mugabe announced plans to sack his deputy, the head of the Zimbabwean army stated that the military may have to intervene to restore order. Now, tanks are reportedly en route to Harare:

Twitter says the Army Chief has given Mugabe 24 hours to vacate his office, and the Army Chief is the new interim President.

Quite, I would thoroughly enjoy seeing Mugabe humbled before his death, but not at the cost of anyones life.

Still, it would be nice to see him scrambling around, looking for allies.

I'd say SA are sick to the back teeth of him at this stage.
