As Hitchens commented - it is called belief because there is no evidence.

And as Professor Tom Holland indicated - there is no evidence. None.
Indonesian society is nowhere near the stage where politicians would have the courage to challenge Islamist forces.

The fact that athiesm is banned, is indicative of a fear in a certain belief system about it's own subjects being closet athiests.
This is a theme in both Indonesia and Malaysia. In Malaysia, there are all sorts of restrictions on Chinese businesses and laws enforcing positive discrimination in favour of native Malaysians (the Bumiputera).

A Malaysian-Chinese rapper called Namewee got into a lot of hot water some years ago when he released a video mocking Malaysia and the alleged laziness of native Malaysians - all to the tune of the Malaysian national anthem.

I see he's still getting himself into hot water.....

There are only certain religions allowed in Indonesia. Yet the gullible types tell us it is a beacon of tolerance.

What is comical is the exact same SJW Libtard tactics are now being deployed in these countries.

"White privilege" has been transplanted to "Chinese privilege".

    The world. It is nuts.

Thanks for that video. I'd heard of it but could never find it. Yeah, that guy has become an enemy of the State in Malaysia for daring to create such a shocking exposť of the situation there. Don't get me started on it.
Safe to say the country will become the main Islamic hellhole in SE Asia, even before Indonesia succumbs. Malaysia is teetering on the brink of civil strife and the upcoming election could see the fuse lit. They had their anti Chinese pogroms in the 60's / 70's and the corrupt and vile prime minister Najib is stirring up racial and religious hatred again to distract from his own crimes.
The country is broke too - though they're hiding the fact and denying it to the people. The wealth has been plundered by kleptocrats. When the oil revenues dried up, their game was up. The end will be swift.

I was told about business operates in Malaysia by an Indian who worked there for a while.

The rapper's assessment concurs with the account that I was given.

He hit a sore nerve there. More the reason why he should be applauded for speaking out.

Malaysia is an apartheid state, and racial/religious discrimination is established in Law.
The Left in the West vilified South Africa for it, but turn a blind eye to similar behaviour is Malaysia. Because they are "little brown people and MUSLIMS".

Trump should ban Muslim Malays from entering the US until they drop their own apartheid laws.

They were under the Dutch for a long time, the Dutch are almost completely subhuman, I think that is what really messed them up.
