    KSA and Iran need to stabilize their relationship. Near war may be good internally for both regimes but real shooting could topple both. They're two brands selling the same dodgy product in a declining market and the goal should be to surf the wave as long as possible among the poor and gullible, not terminate their scam prematurely by blundering into conflict.

    KSA is a far more brittle structure than Iran

    The Iranians have a History going back thousands of years

    - regardless of what the Regime is they will fight any aggressors if at all possible

    That's true but the mullahs face a more sceptical public. The underlying trends are against them. If they want to stay in business there'll be no repeat of a major war like the one with Iraq.
