Alliance Party 26 county Sister Party Vacancy

The Alliance Party in the Six Counties has the PDs as their sister party in the Twenty Six Counties.

Following the demise of the PDs there is now a vacancy.

Which of the 26 county parties will step forward for the roll?

    FG?

Who cares, take away Anna Lo and the Alliance is nothing but a pampered, suburbanite, special-interest group.

Given that FG are a nationalist party I sincerely doubt it.

" take away Anna Lo and the Alliance"

Is that some kind of nasty racial stereotyping?

The Alliances former leader actually became an FG MEP, and he was speaking at their conference recently, I see.

However if your comment is correct, then maybe Labour, since they say they are not nationalist?

Er, Labour's sister party is the SDLP, factual.

No you feejit, Anna Lo is the closest thing to an elected rep with credibility that they have. Take her away and there is nothing left but the pompous windbags.

    I suppose so.

Thus since Labour is not nationalist and the SDLP is, that suggests that Alliance which is not could sister with FG which is.

Well thankfully there's no pompous windbags in the DUP, SF, the SDLP and the UUP, anyway.

Why do you think Anna Lo has credibility?

Obviously I think its great that a Chinese person has been elected but aside from that what gives her credibility?

There is another lady called Michelle Long from East Belfast who is said to have a fairly solid level of local support.
