Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

one of the first things in a democracy ,respect a free vote when the yes people thought that they had it won everything was ok Does Mr Cannon and Mr Collins not realize that what they are doing is attacking the very foundations of democracy. It is some change to see S.F.on the high ground.
[quote="StripeyCat"]No one seems to be taking very much notice of this. This statement from Ciaran Cannon has been reported only in the Irish Times, by Stephen Collins. Collins couldn't even get a reaction from Sinn Féin to pad his piece out to more than just a paragraph.
Like seriously have you ever seen Stephen Collins mention Sinn Féin in ANY article he has ever written? Hi is so biased, thats OK I can live with that but he is also so lazy. It is a simple rule that if someone attacks a party/organisation etc. you usually have their reaction/comments added to the article.
The guy is a joke as far as being the Political corrospondent for the I.T., opinionated Pder yes, POL COr no, But of course his article in today's IT takes the biscuit!! TBH I think he should be sacked for it, "Ratify the Lisbon treaty regardless of Referendum result" no doubt Madame will be very pleased with it. They need to get with the people's response- we rejected Lisbon- I have to inform all the next of kins on here but ITS DEAD!
We can at least thank McDowell that those people only represent one per cent of the electorate.
