Good Luck in the next 12 months

Just wanted to wish all my collegues around the country the best of luck over the next 12 to 18 months.

We took a pasting last year and its back-to-the-wall stuff for the next year at least.

There are some who only sing when they're winning.

So to the tune of "White Christmas"

    "I'm dreaming of a,
    big comback.
Just like we did in 2002.
There'll be 6 seats in Dail Eireann
    and three in An Seanad
and scores of councilors in a row...."
    Bazinga!

To the tune of "Jingle bells"

Oh Go Away, go away, go all the way away,
you were rejected by the electorate, yet Mary and Noel slipped through,
Oh go away, go away, no-one likes you,
Seats in the locals will be like Dáil Éireanns, it's one and one makes Two.
    (if your lucky )

    A little tasteless, no?

Maybe, but rather good. Anyway, Hiker ain't dealing with the fact that the PDs became personality-driven rather than policy-driven in the last five years - but now have only one personality left - and she'll be gone by 2012.

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

I sincerely hope we don't have to wait that long.

Is this a leg pull? The only way PD councillors will get back in next years locals is by joining another party
