It's not me who has the closed mind, some
PD posters now seem to be have a blind infatuation with Colm O'Gorman, similar to that they once had for Mc Dowell, seeing COG as a brave white knight sitting astride his steed charging in to save the PDs from oblivion. It shows the dire straits the PDs have found themselves in, that they believe an unelected and untried politician as party leader, no matter how eloquent, will be taken seriously by the public and not limit the PDs appeal even more.
Harney is the only hope for the PDs future but her obsession with the privatisation and dismantling of the health service, which already distracted her from seeing with disastrous consequences for the PDs, how woeful Mc Dowell would be as leader of the party, leads one to wonder if she really cares anymore having become more
FF than many FFers. If Harney cannot be persuaded to commit to the future of the PDs as their leader for the current Dail, they may as well disperse back to their origins in which ever party they feel most comfortable in.
