    Tom Parlon

I don't think Tom Parlon is very much in a position to make any statements on the make up of the next Governent even if he still is the President of the PD's - It's a bit like President of SF Gerry Adams (At least he's had the grace to remain notably silent on the possible make up of the next Government) speculating from a similar position where he is not a TD or really in a position of influence anymore.

Give it up Tom, your time is over and you may as well take down those decentralisation signs now, for all the good they done you in the long run.

No, fraid not Salt, perhaps you can point it out to me what's so stupid about it? And equally why Tom Parlon as opposed to Mary Harney or Noel Grealish should be in a position to comment on the voting intentions of the PD's. The man is a has been no matter what way you look at it.

Impossible I believe meriweather, don't think it exists anymore unless, as Salt may be hinting that it is to be reborn as the heartland of future FF election candidate Tom Parlon...

I don't know why FG people are pushing this "alternative" possibility. Parlon is trying to be as polite as possible in telling people to "************************ off"

Because in doing so, he can drive up the prices for the indo's, ensuring that FF have a tougher time of it in the next few years.

Also, pretty important for his own credability that he let it sink in just how close he was to becoming Taoiseach. If it weren't for his posturing, all people would hear about is this landslide for Bertie Ahern and how the alternative was roundly defeated, which doesn't stand up to reality.
