Did she ever really leave, given the persistent commonality in the approach to ethics in public office?
Fianna Fail - The Loss of Sovereignty Party.
FF are not right winged. Over 200 extra quangos set up since 1997, bloating the public sector, distorting the market with glorious tax incentives for the construction industry, huge waste of taxpayers money, every project going over deadlines and over budget. Not knowing how to control inflation, no real reform in any department or in politics.
FF were populist in the extreme during the boom, we could of set ourselves up by identifying what key areas we could of tapped into during the late 90s and pumped money into setting up indigenous companies instead of the property madness.
A right winged party would not do well in Ireland, majority of people like government involvement as it seems due to the amount of apathy in this country. Irish people want government to solve all their problems we face.
