FF are scumbags and they know it. FG are scumbags yet they think they're morally superior and a better "class" of people.

FF are scum bags that crippled Ireland. FG are scumbags that will have to clean up the mess.

Fine Gael has TommyO'Brien and Fianna Fail has Tonic. Fine Gael is led by a hick school teacher and Fianna Fail is led by a hick school teacher. Fianna Fail isn't in government?

The only difference between FF and FG is that they take turns in power and opposition.

    Otherwise there is no difference.

The lack of any positive change for the people of Ireland proves this beyond any reasonable doubt.

No. And that's because if things were in reasonable shape there would be no need for a change of government.

No, neither are "scumbags". There are many fine people in both groups, but the leaderships are interested in quantity rather than quality, expediency rather than conviction. They don't set trends, they just lazily follow them.

It's just the way politics is done here, however unsustainable in the long term as society settles for bland mediocrity. But there does come a tipping point.

When FF are in power, FG are in opposition.

When FG are in power, FF are in opposition.

FF think they're smarter than FG.

FG think that they're morally superior to FF & indeed everybody else.

The above are the only constants in Irish politics.

Otherwise there's no difference at all.

Really? How often have FG bankrupted Ireland then? The score should be even with FF if they were actually the same.
