Gosh, I bow to your concern for the big picture. Truly I am ashamed.

They didn't, though. They moved the writs on several occasions, and FG local chairs went to court on the issue. Also, its funny that you only mentioned Donegal - does democracy not matter in Waterford and Dublin South?

FG hacks don't do shame. They are more into silly irony. On your other comment I think it was Doherty who took that issue to court and won!

Why does Ireland need any more jobs?. There are not enough people to fill the jobs from the last referendum.

Well they didn't want to hand SF the bye election victory either.

SF will be the second largest party in the Republic and knocking on being the largest party all island after the next GE in the Republic.
Never listen when they tell you that Man and the animals have a common interest, that the prosperity of the one is the prosperity of the others. It is all lies.

"All-Ireland" in terms of party size is irrelevant, if you're the only party contesting elections in all of the island. Its like setting up a football league with only one team in it, and then proudly proclaiming yourselves as champions.

FG party chairs also took cases, but when the government announced the dates for the by-elections, the cases no longer had any legal basis. FG also, as I told you already, moved the writs for all three by-elections, while I don't remember SF's concern for democracy extending beyond the boundaries of Donegal South-West.

Why do you think that was?

God alone knows! Doherty's effort worked , whereas your mickey mouse shower were merely posturing. They do that well.

    And rightly so...

But I have a cheaper alternative - they could try NOT urinating on the floor.

May I suggest a small monetary fine for anyone who speaks out of turn or goes over time? that would swell the government coffers a nice bit. although you run the risk of even less TDs showing up on days the Dáil sits?
